The Revenue Agency of the province of Buenos Aires (ARBA) has implemented a series of measures aimed at those affected by the storm and flooding on March 7 in Bahía Blanca. These measures include automatic exemptions for more than 144,000 real estate properties and 52,000 vehicles, as well as benefits for Simplified Gross Income taxpayers.
Governor Axel Kicillof ordered this package of tax benefits, which has been enacted by ARBA and published in the Official Bulletin. According to information provided by Agencia Noticias Argentinas, the plan seeks to provide support to taxpayers in Bahía Blanca during these difficult times.
Cristian Girard, executive director of ARBA, noted that these actions reflect the governor's commitment to be present and offer concrete solutions in times of need for the citizens of Buenos Aires. Girard emphasized the implementation of automatic exemptions and simplified processes so that affected families and merchants can focus on their recovery without worrying about their tax obligations.
Among the announced benefits, the automatic exemption from the Property Tax for the entire year of 2025 for all properties in Bahía Blanca stands out, as well as the waiver of the first installment of the Motor Vehicle Tax for all vehicles registered in the district. Additionally, there is an exemption from the provincial component for Simplified Gross Income taxpayers for March and April 2025, among other benefits.
